Turn Off/On Smart Compose in Gmail

By default, Gmail uses machine learning in their Smart Compose feature to try and give suggestions as you write. This guide describes how to turn off/on that feature.

1.) Open and log into your ICTC gmail

2.) In the top right corner, click the "Settings" button that looks like a gear and choose "Settings" from the menu

3.) Under the "General" tab, find "Smart Compose"

4.) Select either "Writing suggestions on" to enable the feature or "Writing suggestions off" to disable the feature.

5.) Don't forget to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click the "Save Changes" button before exiting the settings.
