Invite a Co-Teacher in Canvas

1.) Log into Canvas

2.) Open the course you want to invite the other instructor to

3.) Open the "People" tab of the course

4.) Click the "+People" button, located to the right

5.) Choose the "Login ID" option 

6.)  Type in the username of the instructor you want to add 

*Usually firstname.lastname*

7.) Select the "Teacher" role from the drop down and select the section, if it doesn't auto-populate.

8.) Click the "Next" button

9.) If the user was found, you will get a message like the one below-

10.) Click the "Add Users" button

11.) You will now see them in the People section, with a pending tag.

They must now accept your invitation and then they will be a part of your course!
