Publish Canvas Courses

Note- If your students are unable to see your course in Canvas, it is more than likely because the course is unpublished on your side.

So this article is for you!

1.) Log into Canvas

2.) Choose "Courses" from the left-hand side menu pane. The icon looks like the one below:

3.) Choose the course you wish to Publish

4.) Verify that the course is not already published by looking at the top-right corner of the page under "Course Status". If it does NOT look like the picture below, then the course is already published and you can start these instructions again with another course.

5.) Click the "Publish" button in that top-right corner.

6.) You will notice that the "Publish" button will turn green and say "Published" now. See the picture below for reference:

7.) You can now have the students log in and check to see that they can view the course from their end.
