Set Speed-Dial Keys (Quick Dial/Line Keys)
To set the speed-dial/quick dial/line keys for your extension, you may either log into the web app or set them from the phone itself.
This function will allow you to set extensions for "quick dial".
Below are instructions for adding these via those two methods-
From Phone-
On your handset, press and hold the line key you would like to set
2. Hit the "Switch" soft key button once so you have:
Type: SpeedDial
3. Use the phone arrow keys to scroll down to "Label:"
4. Press the "Directory" key
5. Scroll down and open "LDAP"
6. Locate the person/extension you wish to set for this key
7. Hit "OK" and then "Save"
From Web App-
Log into the RingCentral web app: https://app.ringcentral.com/
Note: Please view these instructions, if you need additional steps for logging in.
2. At the bottom left, click the gear icon with the label "Settings"
3. Within the Settings Menu, choose "Phone"
4. Scroll down to the "General" section and click the "Edit" button on Extension settings
5. Open the "Devices and Numbers" section
6. Locate and click the "Presence" button
7. Click "Assign Extension" next to the key that you wish to add as a quick dial option
8. Search for the person/extension you wish to assign to that key and hit "Assign"
9. Hit "Save" at the bottom of the window
10. Accept pop-up confirming phone will reboot, then allow it to complete it's reboot cycle
11. Your line keys should show up as expected!
