View Recordings on Avigilon

Please Note: These instructions will only apply to those with permissions to view the camera system.

1.) Open the Avigilon Control Center Client, installed on your desktop

2.) Choose the Site you wish to log into

3.) Enter your username and password then click the "Log In" button

4.) At the top left, above the list of cameras, you will see a "Live" and a "Recorded" tab- 

Choose the "Recorded" tab

5.) From the list of cameras, choose the one you would like to see recorded material for and drag it over to the viewing area

Now that you have reached this point:

You will notice at the bottom of the screen, there is now a timeline like the one pictured below. 

Please Note: The red sections in the timeline are where the cameras have recorded video. 

Cameras only record when there is movement detected. They do not record continuously.

Using your scroll wheel on your mouse-

Scrolling IN- Gives you more precise times (can go down to seconds/minutes)

Scrolling OUT- Gives you a wider time range (can go back to other months/years)

6.) With your mouse, hover over the area with the date/time you are interested in viewing.

Scroll IN or OUT using the scroll wheel on your mouse til you reach the recording

7.) To the left of the timeline, a grey box tells you the exact date/time you are viewing.

This is also where you will push the play button to view the recorded material
