Join a Video Meeting

The different methods of joining a Google Hangouts video meeting are laid out for you below.

Via Meeting Code-

1. Sign into your ICTC GSuite account - accounts.google.com/signin

2. Click the Google Apps "waffle button," found at the top-right next to your account picture

3. Scroll until you find the "Meet" app, as shown here

Click this and go to Google Hangouts Meet

4. Click "Join or start a meeting"

5. Type in the meeting code you were given

6. If you have pop-ups asking you to allow your camera and microphone, go ahead and click allow, as needed

Once everything is connected, you can test it from the pre-meeting screen you are on

7. From your pre-meeting screen, click "Join Now"

8. You are now in the meeting!

Via Meeting Email Invite-

1. Sign into your ICTC GSuite email account - mail.google.com

2. Find the Meet invite in your mail

3. Open it and click "Join Meeting"

4. If you have pop-ups asking you to allow your camera and microphone, go ahead and click allow, as needed

Once everything is connected, you can test it from the pre-meeting screen you are on

5. From your pre-meeting screen, click "Join Now"

6. You are now in the meeting!

Via Meeting Link / Calendar Link-

*If you have received a link either via calendar or some other method you will want to use these instructions*

1. Copy and paste your meeting link into your browser's URL bar

2. If you have pop-ups asking you to allow your camera and microphone, go ahead and click allow, as needed

4. You are now in the meeting!
